We were preposed by Organic and Lyndon Set Design to construct an interactive branded Space for 200 guests. This includes a walk through entrance tunnel, various sport activations, football pitch and branded stage wings.
The event set was pre-manufactured and finished in our 5400 square foot workshop in Virginia Water, having the space to stand parts of the set up to check finishes and quality. The clients have worked in the event industry for many years so they expect high end finish.
LOCATION
180 The Strand
180 Studios is a network of event and production spaces.
Their spaces can be used for any number of premium events and productions: conferences, parties, meetings, live stream events, branded experiences, high-end video production, virtual production, and more.
DESIGN CHALLENGE
Our biggest challenge was the size, regulations, access and restrictions of the venue. We were on a tight timeline, only having 12 hours to complete the install.
Using the loading bay and service lifts, we transported everything on wheels and trollies so no weight was carried for an extended period by hand. The set was broken down into manageable pieces taking into consideration lift dimensions not sacrificing on the quality of the build.
THE APPROACH
Get Setsy was selected to transform the 180 Studio Kitchen (4700 square foot) into a fully branded interactive events space ensuring we hit the correct timeline and budgets.
During the build we made sure to deliver the highest standard of work no matter the size of the assets. Using our in-house draftman, we could ensure the construction plans we signed off and agreed with the client before manufacturing took place. This also allowed us to keep the client fully informed of the technical details and challenges throughout.
Organic was pleased with the final results having affirmed a great working relationship. We’ve continued working together on various projects since this took place.
